Classic Danish song dedicated to this pub: Langebro by Gasolin
Unbelievable – when I crossed the bridge Langebro, I would never believe that such a gem was hidden below the bridge! A place with more than 20 beers on tap in Copenhagen – even though they have beers from the Carlsberg monopoly! Bloody fantastic! I hope more places in Denmark follow in the footsteps of Langebro. You will find Czech, Belgian, smaller Danish Breweries and of course the monopoly. There should be something for each taste.
The place is huge, with a ”modernized” Danish pub look. The colors are light. There are benches, sofas and long tables. The bar is big and also in light tree. There are old pictures from Copenhagen on the walls, as well as beer signs from the breweries. There is blues in the speakers. In a little cozy room on the side – you are allowed to smoke.
There is a good mix among the guests. Old, young, business and leisure. Good atmosphere
If you know Danish you can read more about Cafe Langebro on the webpage.
“Can I pour you a draft, Mr. Peterson?”
“A little early, isn’t it Woody?”
“For a beer?”
“No, for stupid questions.”
