The Royal Oak – 3 Curtains

Off the beaten track not so far from Victoria lies this corner pub.  It is a big and light pub with yellow walls.  There are good sofas/benches along the walls. The bar itself is quite small.  There is a good selection of ales

There has been a bar there since 1811 and was rebuilt in 1872

It is very clean and the staff is friendly. It was half full when I was there with “half young” people. There is free wireless internet.
