Danish classic song dedicated to Isbjørnen (Polar Bear) – Himmelhunden (Heavendog) by Teddy Edelman

This is Danish pub in the real old fashioned way.  The upper walls are really yellow by nicotine.  The guests seems like they have drunk their share of beers in their life. They are listening to music from the radio station P4 that serves music for grownups. The song  Himmelhunden – if you can take your dog with you to heaven – must be popular here. I spotted several himmelhunde.

There is a fantastic painted Polar Bear sign over the door.  The pub is not so big and well smoked, so it is good for a smokers vacation.

The best part? The beer is only 20 DKK for a pint!

The Polar Bear plays in Reykjaviksgade 1

Today’s Normism:
“Hey, Mr. Peterson, there’s a cold one waiting for you.”
“I know, and if she calls, I’m not here.”
