Tourist Trap! This was our thought when we entered this German Style beer hall. The waitresses are all dressed like Heidi’s from the Oktoberfest. There are German style benches and in the inner room, they even have made it into a little town square from Bavaria. So our expectations were not the greatest when we sat down, but boy were we surprised.
We ordered a beer from their own microbrewery – and it tasted divine! Beer House produces 7 sorts of unpasteurized and non-filtered beer – Pilsner Gold, Märzen Speziel, Dunkles Extra, Helles Light, Medovar Honey and Beer House Preminum in the strict abidance to the requirements of the “ Beer Purity Act of the year 1516”. Good start! Then the friendly waitress recommended the beer snack basket – and it tasted also divine. It was the best garlic bread I have tasted!
We sat through a couple of other of their beers, and looked at people and enjoyed the place. The atmosphere was good! When we come back to Tallinn this is certainly a place we will come back to!
“How’s it going, Mr. Peterson?”
“I’m sorry to hear that.”
“No, I mean pour.”
