The term Yellow Curtains comes from the time when you still could smoke in pubs.  In Denmark you often had pubs with white curtains – but they turned yellow because of the smoke.  The more yellow the more popular :-)  We have stolen this grading system.

Jan Erik is  Norwegian that has lived in the U.S, and the 10 last years in Denmark.

Some calls him Norm, even though he does not know why.

He has visited all pubs personally on this list.
